Separate registrations required for every State and option to apply for additional registrations if company has different verticals of business.

Interesting and good question to ask.

You will need to have 26 Registration numbers (mandatory - assuming you are going to bill from all these 26 locations).

You can optionally take additional registration number for all your verticals (depending on your accounting policies).

Any idea about the valuation of goods under the M.R.P. act.? Would there be an abatement on the M.R.P. to determine the assessable value or would the Assessable value be the same as the transactional value?

we generally get  advance with order and it takes 3-4 month item to manufacture and deliver. Is this advance also taxable under GST

We also run a plastic injection moulding company. we get moulds from buyers to make their component. Under the existing taxation system, we add some pre determined tool amortization cost to the assessable value for the purpose of paying excise duties. Subsequently this value is subtraced means we don't pay sales tax on tool amortization cost.

what will be the position under proposed GST
