CVD and SAD will merge to come under GST domain. Imports will be treated as inter state transfer of goods and apart from Basic Custom Duty, you will have IGST in place of CVD and SAD.

When excise and all other taxes will be merged to GST, would like to know does SAD (Special Additional Duty) will be merged or not alongwith CVD in case of imports. If not then my comment is SAD should also vanish.Only Custom Duty should be there and GST. Nothing else.
