If you are 'supplying' goods/services from different locations in different states then you will have to obtain registration in each of such states. If you are 'supplying' goods/services from single location to different customers in different states then you need not have different registrations at all such locations where your customers are located. The place of business from where you are supplying goods/services need to be registered under the respective state.
